Job Purpose:
Responsible for provide specialized care for newborns, including premature and critically ill
infants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan and implement nursing activities
• Carry out the doctor’s order within the hospital policy and legal limitations
• Provide intensive care to neonates, including premature and low birth weight babies
• Maintain records and reports of patient’s medical histories, and monitor developments
  in their health conditions
• Monitor vital signs such as heart rate, oxygen levels, temperature, and respiration
• Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as incubators, ventilators, CPAP, and
  phototherapy units
• Ensure proper handling, positioning, and comfort of infants
• Support and educate parents on newborn care and feeding practices
  Assist neonatologists during procedures and emergencies

Job Specifications:

• Qualification: B.sc/Diploma Degree in Nursing, GNM Certification
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse In NICU Department.
• Technical Skills / Job related skills: Record Management, high standard of patient care
• Management Skills: Be a good team player, maintain good people relations, maintain
  a positive attitude
• Communication Skills: Good command over English, Kannada, Good listening skills
  and ability to display empathy and provide advice
