Job Purpose:
Manage all billing activities for patients while providing an elevated experience to patients / attendants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Following admission guideline protocols while performing admission of patients
- Handle phone calls in absence of customer care team
- Understanding patient’s needs and provide billing services as necessary
- Handling cash / petty cash vouchers
- Ensure that all services are billed before the patient leaves the hospital
- Ensuring acknowledgment from patients on all hospital procedures
- Providing cost estimation and financial clearance for patients
- Preparing interim bills and counselling patients on outstanding expenses
- Preparing final bills according to the agreed package or tariffs
Job Specifications:
- Qualification: Degree in Accounting or similar stream
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in managing similar roles in hospitals
- Technical Skills: Accounting, Record Management, MS office
- Management Skills: Be a good team player, maintain good people relations, practice conflict resolution
- Communication Skills: Good command over English, Kannada. Ability to resolve problems through effective communication
