Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital facility and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
● Assign housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed
standards of cleanliness are met
● Plan and schedule staff shifts and organizing replacements as required
● Investigate and address complaints regarding poor housekeeping service
● Provide training to the housekeeping staff on best practices
● Take regular inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed
● Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed
● Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and
dismissals
● Perform various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.

Job Specifications:
● Qualification: High school diploma or Graduate
● Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in same role
● Technical Skills / Job related skills: working knowledge on house-keeping, dexterity
and strength to perform or monitor physical work, record management, working
knowledge on MS office
● Management Skills: Be a good team player, maintain good people relations,
organizing skills and time management
● Communication Skills: Empathetic communication towards staff, patients and others.
Good command on south Indian languages and English.
