Role: Maintenance Team Member

Job Purpose:
Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the entire hospital facility to ensure that the daily
operations are carried out without any challenges

Job Responsibilities:
● Perform boiler alarm tests, water tests and portable appliance tests (electrical)
● Carry out the maintenance and repairs of drains and sanitary ware, guttering and
downpipes etc, and ensure plant rooms, workshops are kept in a safe and tidy
condition
● Clear blockages in bedpan macerators, sinks, drains and toilets
● Handle renovation / repair works in the facility as and when needed
● Perform non-routine jobs as needed to ensure that the facility is in good condition
● Plan and organize daily work and coordinate with other members of the department
and hospital staff to resolve any infrastructural issues
● Perform daily rounds to take note of potential damages or avoid complaints and
maintaining proper checklist
● Accurately report the defects on a weekly basis to Facility Manager by clearly stating
and highlighting faults and potential problems
● Participate actively in the planned preventative maintenance exercise

Job Specifications:
● Qualification: ITI
● Experience: 3-4 years of experience in related industry and managing facility and
equipment
● Technical Skills: Knowledge on electrical equipment and maintenance, proficiency in
using all workshop equipment
● Management Skills: team player, maintain good people relations, practice conflict
resolution
● Communication Skills: Good command over Kannada. Ability to resolve problems
through effective communication
