Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receiving indents.
- To prepare duty roster for the staff.
- To check the booking register a day before surgery, for the special requirement and to co-ordinate with the surgeon & anaesthetist.
- To ensure that aseptic technique is maintained strictly in OT.
- To check whether the consumables instruments and equipment is available for the surgery.
- To ensure that all the equipment is functioning properly.
- To check if all surgeries on completion are documented properly.
- To maintain the emergency stock in Operation Theatre.
- To co-ordinate with Operation Theatre technician, biochemical and housekeeping staff.
- To ensure that the postoperative patients are handled carefully in the recovery room and transferred properly according to the protocol.
- To serve as a positive role model
Qualifications
Required Education: GNM / B.Sc (Nursing)
Experience: 8 – 10 Years
